ASIAD 16: Gathering of Chinese Beautiful Volunteers

The 16th Asian Games or ASIAD, is going to be held in Guangzhou, China from 12 to 27 November, 2010. Hosted by China in Guangzhou City, Shanwei, Dongguan and Foshan are also selected to become the co-host cities in this event. In terms of detailed schedule, ASIAD 16 will witness the participation of 45 nations getting involved in the competitions of 42 various sport categories such as 28 Olympic sports,14 non-Olympic, along with such debutant sports as Cricket, Dancesport, Dragon Boat, Weiqi and Roller sport. Meanwhile, Dongguan, Foshan, and Shanwei are going to coordinate with Guangzhou for the sailing, boxing, weightlifting, as well as synchronized swimming categories. Thus, there are lots of anticipated events taking place in this special event to welcome visitors all over the world. More importantly, the success of the ASIAD 16 can be recognized via the constructive participations of Chinese beautiful volunteers in all activities of ASIAD 16. The training camp consists of the military training, etiquette training, English conversation skills, figure training, knowledge of Games sports events, and rehearsals for victory ceremonies

 

Games ceremonial volunteers have been chosen in over 110 higher education institutions from around 90 cities across the country since May 2009
