Australian Sailing provide Tackers Boats to the Solomon Islands

Sailing is set to grow in the Solomon Islands with the recently delivered 10 new Tackers Boats. Australian Sailing with the support of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and the Australian Defence Force (ADF) delivered 10 new Tackers boats in June.

Whitworths Tackers Boat Program putting kids in boats

The Whitworths Tackers Program has once again proved a major success in 2023, with the generosity of Whitworths securing the sponsored purchase of 30 Ozi Opti Tackers boats and 150 sails at Tackers Centres around Australia.

Registrations open for 2023 SheSails Leadership Conference

Registrations are now open for the highly anticipated 2023 SheSails Leadership Conference, which is set to feature an incredible lineup of keynote speakers.

The third edition of the SheSails Leadership Conference is set to be delivered via webinar at 6pm (AEDT) on Tuesday 3rd October 2023.

Club in Focus 

Port Dalrymple Yacht Club

Founded in 1952 in Northern Tasmania, located on the banks of ‘Kanamaluka’, the beautiful Tamar River, is the Port Dalrymple Yacht Club (PDYC). Club facilities include one of the few haul out facilities on the Tamar estuary where you can sail a wide range of yachts, boats and dinghies.

PDYC is a predominantly volunteer run club with a strong all hands-on deck approach from its members. Built from the ground up, the hard work and dedication of their volunteers has led them to where they are today. Read more about PDYC.

Australian Team Announced For 2023 Sailing World Championships

Ten World Championships will be on the line when the 51 selected Australian athletes hit the water at the 2023 Allianz Sailing World Championships in The Netherlands next week.
