Bundaberg Sailing
Club conducts a number of Sail Training days each year. Training is both on
land theory and on water practical in the club’s training craft. The club has a
number of different off the beach dinghy’s to give a range of sailing and
rigging techniques.
Sailing is a fun sport and during the course you will be
given instruction on the basics of sailing to enable you to understand the
basics of sailing and boat handling.
The cost for Adults includes one full year’s family
membership of the Club $200 (covering two adults and their children) plus the
training fee $100 per person.
The cost for Children includes one full year’s junior
membership of the Club $50 (if not included in a family membership) plus the
training fee $100. $150 vouchers are available through the Sport and Recreation
Dept “Get Into Sport” programme. See their website.
Boats and life jackets will be provided by the Club.
If you are a non or weak swimmer please advise the instructor
each time you go on board.
The Club canteen will be open for refreshments.
